Zulfiqar Ali Abbasi, a seasoned lawyer with an illustrious career spanning over three decades, completed his LLB Honours in 1989 from the International Islamic University Islamabad. Throughout his career, Mr. Abbasi has specialized in land and revenue matters, establishing himself as a trusted expert in areas such as property disputes, boundary conflicts, tenancy issues, property development disputes, benami transactions, pre-emption rights, land acquisition, CDA matters, evacuee trust property, long-standing entries, title and possession disputes, and more.
His leadership and service extend beyond his practice. In 1998, he served as the General Secretary of the Islamabad Bar Association. Currently, he is an elected member of the Islamabad Bar Council for the term 2020-2025. His notable positions within the council include Vice Chairman in 2021, Chairman of the Legal Education Committee in 2022, and Chairman of the Executive Committee in 2023. Presently, he leads the Legal Education Committee of the Islamabad Bar Council, reflecting his dedication to enhancing legal education and standards.
