Chaudhary Mohammad Irfan(Late), a distinguished advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, left an indelible mark on the legal landscape of the country. Throughout his illustrious career, Chaudhary Mohammad Irfan was renowned for his profound contributions to the Capital Development Authority (CDA) laws and the rights of those affected by CDA ordinances. Beginning his practice shortly after the CDA ordinance was enacted in 1960, he tirelessly advocated for the CDA effectees, earning widespread recognition for his work in civil law, particularly in cases involving property, land, and revenue matters. His legal acumen in constitutional matters further solidified his reputation as an expert in civil and constitutional law.
Over his nearly 37-year career,Mr Irfan’s relentless pursuit of justice and his unwavering commitment to his clients earned him immense respect and admiration in the legal community. His legacy continues to inspire and guide future generations of lawyers. To honor his unparalleled contributions to the legal profession, the Islamabad Bar Association named its library the Chaudhary Mohammad Irfan Library, a lasting tribute to a legendary advocate.
